Adele Tops 2012 Ivor Novella Awards Nominees
Incredibly talented and successful singer Adele is at it again, as it was announced on Tuesday (April 17) that she is the lead nominee for the upcoming Ivor Novella Awards.
She may be adding four more trophies to her mantel, as she received more nominations than any other artist for the award show's 57th year.
The 23-year-old singer’s single “Rolling in the Deep” stands in the categories for best song musically and lyrically and the PRS for Music most performed work, joining her other smash-hit, “Someone Like You.”
Her wildly successful album, 21, is nominated in the album of the year category alongside Kate Bush’s 50 Words for Snow. She was recently awarded album of the year at both the Grammy and the Brit awards.
The event will take place on May 17 at the Grosvenor House hotel in London. It celebrates the excellent creativity in songwriting and is judged by the fellow music community while being presented by the more than 2,000 of the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers, and Authors.
