Adele Confirmed to Make Grammy Awards Comeback
Much to the delight of her mega fan base, it has just been announced that Adele will partake in her first post-throat surgery performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards.
Already up for an impressive six nominations, the 23-year-old singer announced that she will take the stage for the February 12th show via her Twitter page this morning (January 31).
"Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It's been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can't wait," Adele wrote.
Following her social media confirmation, Adele released a more formal statement to press, reading, "I'm immensely proud to have been asked to perform at this year's Grammy Awards. It's an absolute honor to be included in such a night and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking, but what a way to get back into it all."
In addition to her Grammy's gig, the "Rolling in the Deep" diva previously announced plans to perform at the Brit Awards which are scheduled for February 21st.
