Aaron Carter
Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff have decided to put a 5-year-old dispute behind them, becoming amigos once more. The cause of the rift between the two starlets back in 2002 just so happened to be Aaron Carter.
Duff has appropriately called the dispute "silly" and has decided to end it, going back to being friends with LiLo.
Duff said: "We are both adults and whatever happened, happened when we were young. It's over."
Okay, despite my initial resistance, I watched the premiere episode of the House of Carters tonight. It was entertaining and heart wrenching.
Like fame, controversy has followed Nick and Aaron Carter and their three sisters. Now they're getting a second chance to put family first. Can the Carters put their rocky pasts behind them and come together as a family? Watch the entire full hour premiere episode right now online.
Nick, Bobbie Jean, Leslie, Angel and Aaron Carter will have you coming back for more. Seriously. I could go on and on, but it's probably best if you just watch the episode for yourself.
ps. The Paris Hilton incident cracked me up. Looks like the Kari Ann Peniche thing isn't the first time Aaron Carter picked up the pieces of his brother's failed relationships!
The tweens of America can breathe a sigh of relief this evening. Aaron Carter is not getting married.
"I got caught up in the moment and proposed. I then realized it was a hasty thing to do and I am not ready for marriage quite yet."
So what about Kari Ann Peniche? Who knows but she's deleted her MySpace so I guess she's gone into seclusion for a bit.
"They are just going to be friends now. She still wants to keep dating him but Aaron is not quite sure. He was trying to appease her but came to his senses and realized it was the wrong thing to do."

What? Who? Where? All the "tweens" in America are confused and wondering what just hit them. They're sweet little Aaron Carter is going to marry a girl who posed nude in Playboy? Oh say it isn't so. Guess since he's 18 and all.. he's all grown up now. Well, it all happened in Las Vegas...
Aaron Carter has proposed to his girlfriend, who happens to be an ex-girlfriend of his brother, Nick Carter. (Ewww, sloppy seconds!)
The "girl" is Kari Ann Peniche.. a name I never heard of before today. She was a teen beauty queen -- Miss United States Teen 2003 (Never heard of that pageant either) who was stripped of her title for stripping off her clothes. She has a MySpace that's been "sanitized" for now, but you know we love Google and it's cache.. so you can see it in all it's glory here. Can't hide from Google honey!!!
Seems the romance between the two is so new that even big daddy Carter isn't sure what's going on. "I heard he got married, then I heard he only got engaged. I don't have a clue." Papa Carter also said that the couple "just started dating. Even my daughters don't know what's going on." Lovely, just lovely.. there is such a rock solid foundation to this lovely marriage.
Now, not that these two items have anything in common, but you do know that the Carter clan is staring in an E! TV series, right? It's called House of Carters, featuring Aaron, older brother Nick, twin sister Angel, and sisters Bobbie Jean and Leslie which premieres Oct. 2nd. Some are calling the engagement a publicity stunt to get attention for the show, but honestly what's left of Aaron's fan base are female teenagers.. why would he want to alienate his only niche viewers by getting hitched? Guess he didn't think this all the way through.
Aaron Carter is recovering from a surfing accident which briefly put him in hospital. His spokesperson confirms Aaron Carter has been discharged and is resting at home after the ocean mishap.
Although the exact cause of the accident is still unknown, a statement from the 18-year-old's publicist yesterday reads: "(Aaron) had a mining surfing accident earlier this week. "Although hospitalized, he has been released and is recovering nicely at home."
Pop siblings Nick and Aaron Carter's reality TV show project has been greenlighted in Hollywood. The singers' eight-part family show, The Carters, will debut on cable network E! Entertainment Television this autumn. The series will follow Backstreet Boys star Nick, his younger brother and their three sisters as they try to live together.
Aaron Carter emerged unscathed from an accident late Wednesday night when he hit a mattress with his SUV, causing the vehicle to burst into flames. The singer, 17, was driving his 2004 Cadillac Escalade on Florida's Turnpike, north toward Orlando, at around 12:30 a.m. when a mattress fell from the cargo bed of a delivery truck ahead of him, according to his spokesperson.
Carter drove over the mattress, which became lodged under the SUV and caught fire. He then pulled over and he and a passenger escaped to the side of the road where they watched as the vehicle exploded moments later.
Carter, who was heading to Orlando to shoot the cover photo for his upcoming album, Saturday Night, said in a statement, "Everything happened in such a whirlwind. It was like the mattress flew out of nowhere. You think you're invincible when you're behind the steering wheel of an SUV but you're not. I'm OK but you can imagine I'm still in shock."
Both Carter and his passenger were treated at the scene of the accident for minor bumps and bruises. Carter rejected hospital care, choosing instead to spend the night at a friend's house recuperating.
Aaron Carter says that "nothing sexual" happened between him and Michael Jackson during his overnight stay at the Neverland Ranch. Upset after his mother, Jane Carter, wondered aloud in a televised interview what could have happened during his unsupervised sleepover in September 2003, the pop star told People magazine, "Nothing happened ... We didn't sleep in the same room, we didn't share a bed. We have a normal friendship. There's nothing sexual to it."
Good, now let's hope he just steers clear of MJ. Why is it that Michael likes to hang with the young boys anyway? Grow up man!
Aaron Carter is heading for the TV world, after signing up to appear on the WB hit show, 7th Heaven.
Aaron, younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, will appear as a love interest of Mackenzie Rosman's character Ruthie on the third episode of this season and will remain on the show for two or three episodes, possibly more.
-------------------------------------------
Personally, it just seems weird that Ruthie would have a boyfriend lol, she still seems like that cute adorable 3rd grader to me! I guess with Ashlee Simpson leaving 7th Heaven to start her own music career, they just had to bring someone in to attract the younger viewers.
Jane Carter, the 44-year-old mother of five, who separated from Robert Carter in March, purportedly smashed a window to break into his Marathon, Florida, home late Tuesday night and attacked his 29-year-old gal-pal.
Jane pulled a sleeping Ginger Elrod out of bed by her hair and hit her with a remote control, according to a police report from the Monroe County Sheriff's office. read more.. [via E!]
