Speaking to MTV News, the "Call Me Maybe" singer shared her reaction when she first tried on the iconic glass slippers, explaining, "It was surprisingly emotional. I think that it's just such a classic tale and the shoes are so much a focal point to the whole thing and they were like, 'What size are you?' And I was just really happy that it actually fit. I was like it would be a bad omen if my first try, the size is off, but it did fit."

The “Call Me Maybe” cutie captioned the black and white shot, which shows a side view of her ball gown, "First day on set and they let me try on the BIG wedding dress! They had to bribe me with smarties to take it off. @CinderellaBway let's play dress up again tmr please! #CinderellaBway."
